Paranormal investigators capture eerie footage from famously haunted Drovers Inn pub

A top Scottish ghost hunting team have captured some spooky footage at one of Scotland's oldest pubs.

Paranormal Scotland were investigating at the Drovers Inn at Loch Lomond which is rumoured to be one of the most haunted locations in the country.

Head investigator Michelle Walker was with her small team of fellow investigators when they visited the inn for the first time last summer.

Heading to the two rooms which are said to be haunted, rooms two and six, the Fife-based group stayed for an overnight investigation on July 25 through to July 26.

"When we first arrived we had a good look around before we went up to Haunted room 6 and set up a camera," explained Michelle, who has over two decades of experience.

"We left this camera running while we went down to set up some cameras and equipment in room 2, which is also said to be haunted."

Disappointedly, the room they were in, Room 2, which is said to be haunted by a young family that froze to death outside the inn after struggling to find it in a blizzard, had little or no paranormal activity on the night.

However, when they reviewed the footage from Room 6 they spotted some very strange activity with what appears to be glowing balls moving in strange directions around the room, as well as some that seem to leave traces of their passing.

"We caught on camera some strange lights, what we believe to be orbs," explained Michelle. "I know a lot of people put this down to dust or insects, but there was no bugs in that room that night, and dust is just completely different under a camera, it's a lot more consistent.

"What we captured was just amazing to watch."

The team, which also includes investigators Georgie and Angela, as well as photographer Gary, also captured some strange photos.

Michelle added: "We took a few photos of the Drovers (inside and out) we caught a photo of something strange passing the bedroom door.

"No flashes were used that night, as we only use IR lighting, after showing this to a member of staff in the morning we were told this could easily be the little girl that had apparently drowned in the river which runs behind the Drovers Inn, who's body was laid in room 6 for several days while the family grieved and planned her burial in a nearby graveyard.

"We personally have no idea what or who this could be."

Interestingly, the group also used equipment such as trigger devices and a Rempod bear (a type of stuffed toy used to attract ghost children) and they felt something was trying to make contact back.

Suitably spooked by the encounter, the team were delighted to be able to capture so much intriguing material, sharing the images and video online with their fans.

The group, who first began their investigations way back in 2014, investigate haunted sites including abandoned buildings, old hospitals and castles across Scotland.

Since 2018, they've been offering people the chance to join them on their investigations you can find out more here.
