Papa John's is giving away free food in Greater Manchester next week. The American pizza company will be dishing out its new papadias - a pizza sandwich - in Sale town centre on April 28.
Hungry punters can get their hands on the new product in Stanley Square between 12 and 2pm. The pizza sandwich which combines together lunchtime choices of pizzas, sandwiches and toasties creating the all new papadias.
Research carried out by Papa Johns revealed that people are bored of their lunchtime options after returning to the office, with 62 per cent of Mancunians in search of a new option. Some 2,000 Brits were polled and Manchester came in at a close second for wanting something new in the middle of the day.

The data also suggested that a third of Manchester workers would tolerate a burnt toastie for lunch. The papadias costs £5.99 and are in four flavours, Philly cheesesteak, Italian sausage and pepperoni, BBQ chicken and bacon, and Philly mushroom; which is also available in a vegan option.
Giles Codd, Senior Marketing Director at Papa John’s UK, said: “It’s clear from the research that Brits are bored of their lunch options and on the lookout for a new alternative, so we’re excited to offer Papadias to stores nationwide as a lunchtime option.
“Heading back to the office shouldn’t mean stale sarnies and tired meal deals. Papadias make an ideal lunchtime alternative to enjoy at work or on-the-go that challenges the boring lunchtime routine and is set to be a menu favourite.”
