Paolo Nutini teases 'new music' as he warns Scottish fans not to buy from ticket touts

Scottish singer Paolo Nutini has teased the possibility of new music on his social medias ahead of his UK tour dates, as he also sends a ticket tout warning to fans.

The Paisley-born artist has switched up his profile photo on all social medias to a dark navy and orange toned photo of himself - which usually means a big announcement is not far off if other artists are anything to go by.

Paolo's header photos and bio's have also being changed to the cryptic message: "Lose It For A Little While" - could this be the new single?

Earlier this week, the 'Pencil Full of Lead' singer announced a small UK-wide tour that included two stops in Oban, at the Corran Halls on May 27 and 28.

He posted a photo of the sold out tour, that included four dates at the 100 Club in London and one date at The Leadmill in Sheffield, with the caption: "Please DON'T buy tickets at inflated prices from unauthorised resale sites such as Viagogo as those tickets will not be valid."

Plenty of fans replied under this tweet complaining of their trouble getting tickets to the extremely intimate shows across the UK.

One Twitter user said: "Dude, you HAVE to pit on another show in Oban man, tickets went in 10 minutes, near rioting on Information Oban!"

Another said: "Why don't you play bigger venues instead of these p*** local halls ? It's been a few years since we've had the opportunity."

Another disagreed under this tweet, writing: "There is a full tour coming."

Another Twitter user said: "Did anyone even manage to get tickets for his London shows? Touts absolutely violated us even when waiting since 8.30."

And a fifth wrote: "Nope, didn’t get a look in for any of the 4 dates. Think resellers should have their tickets cancelled and they go back on general sale."

Paolo will headline TRNSMT 2022 on Friday, July 8 alongside a whole host of other massive artists in Glasgow Green.
