Paolo Nutini fans suspect that the singer is gearing up to release a new album as he announces yet another gig date.
The Paisley-born star, who has been absent from the music scene over the last few years, is ensuring 2022 is his comeback year as he adds another gig to his growing list for this summer.
Paolo will appear at Bristol on June 23, for a special concert ahead of his homecoming performance at TRNSMT in July.
But as he revealed the gig, fans said that they are hopeful of new music and suspect that an album might be in the pipeline.
One wrote: "I am DELIGHTED! Looking forward to new release. What great news!!"
Another added: "Can't believe you're back."
While one said: "When is new music coming from you? Can’t wait!"
Another commented: "New Album, please."
A fifth added: "New album drop ????"
During a recent outing in Glasgow's southside, Paolo told fans he is "working hard" on his new album so it looks like our prayers have been answered and he will be releasing music.
Paolo, 35, popped into the rustic Shawlands restaurant Kilmurray & Co on Monday afternoon, sporting a pair of sunnies and a casual jeans and jumper combo as he enjoyed the rare glimpse at the Scottish sunshine.
The last album Paolo released was Caustic Love which was out in 2014.
He appeared at the Paisley Abbey in 2017 to perform at a charity-led concert for Syrian refugees, and has done several gigs here and there - but hasn't properly toured the UK since 2015.
