Paolo Nutini announces new gig but Scottish fans still aren't happy

Paolo Nutini has just announced a date at the Canons Marsh Amphitheatre in Bristol on his return to live shows ahead of his summer appearance at Glasgow's TRNSMT Festival.

Fans have bombarded the Paisley singer with more demands for Scottish and Irish dates, following his latest announcement over on Twitter.

Paolo wrote on Twitter : "Sign up for first access to tickets here, tickets on general sale 9am Friday 25th March."

He announced he will be performing at the Canons Marsh Amphitheatre in Bristol Harbourside for Thursday, June 23, before his appearance at TRNSMT on July 8.

Fans have flocked to his Twitter replies to complain about the lack of Scottish and Irish dates, with one user saying: "PLEASE come to Manchester or over to Ireland this summer."

Another said: "I hope you're coming to Ireland. Vote to Limerick King John's Castle please."

And a third wrote: "need a scottish tour mon."

Further tweets read: "Any chance of a UK tour? Anywhere near Manchester?", and "UK tour please."

The 33-year-old singer hasn't been active on any social media since August 2019, and has finally given his fans some respite as he announced a few appearances at festivals, including Glasgow's TRNSMT Festival in July.

However, fans are still expecting a full UK-wide tour from the singer, given his long hiatus - but will it come?

Paolo Nutini will headline the Friday of TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow, on July 8, alongside other incredible artists like Sam Fender, Tom Grennan and The Lathums.
