Paolo Nutini was all smiles when he was spotted nipping in for a drink at a well-known Celtic pub in Glasgow.
The Last Request singer was pictured alongside a starstruck member of staff at The Brazen Head in the city’s South Side.
His appearance came just hours before the Parkhead side’s 4-1 league victory against Hearts - which all but secures the Hoops' name on the Scottish Premiership trophy for this season.
The Brazen Head captioned the picture: “In for a pint after buying some new shoes.”
Many of his fans were quick to comment on the picture - with many making reference to the singer’s chart-topping work.
One wrote: “He’s got some new shoes on and suddenly everything is right.”
Another added “New shoes in these streets, hail hail.”
A third commented: “Maybe the same as the shoes that Ange brought with him.”
The 35-year-old singer from Paisley has kept somewhat of a low profile since the release of his last album Caustic Love, which was released more than eight years ago.
His last gig appearance came in April 2017, when Paolo played a hometown gig at the incredible Paisley Abbey.
And fans do not have long to wait until his comeback, as he prepares to headline Glasgow’s TRNSMT Festival this summer.
The Scots star will be performing on the main stage on Friday, July 8 - which will also feature the likes of Sam Fender and Chic with Nile Rodgers.
Day tickets for the Friday at TRNSMT have already sold out according to the festival’s website.
