Now that summer's over it seems like all there is to look forward to is stressing about buying Christmas presents and over-eating on the big day itself.
While frantically scraping frost off car in the morning then cursing all the traffic chaos cold weather causes you're likely to ask yourself 'is this all there is to look forwards to until Spring?
Well the answer is 'oh no it isn't!' - because panto season runs from November to mid-February and there are over nine different productions to choose from in West Yorkshire.
There's something for everyone - from interactive Rock 'n' Roll Panto Red Riding Hood at Leeds City Varieties to Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs at Bradford's Alhambra Theatre.

Red Riding Hood - the Rock 'n' Roll Panto
Leeds City Varieties
November 29 - January 12
The Rock 'n' Roll Panto has become one of Leeds' most fun festive traditions, and this year Little Red Riding Hood gets the panto treatment.
A cast of talented actor-musicians take the audience through the well-known story - but with a classic rock soundtrack, audience participation and the famous Boulder Battle!
Matinees will be at 2pm and evening performances will be at 7pm.

The Wizard of Oz

November 25 - January 25
The Wizard of Oz is the classic tale being told by Leeds Playhouse this year.
It will be the first big Christmas event following an extensive refurbishment.
The Quarry Theatre is hosting the family favourite, advised for children aged seven and above.

Night Before Christmas

Also at the Playhouse this Christmas is a children's show bound to put you in a Christmassy mood!
Aimed at little ones aged three to seven, the Night Before Christmas sees Carol - who certainly doesn't feel very Christmassy - visited by Elf 30046 and taken on an adventure that explores the true meaning of Christmas.
All performances, in the Courtyard Theatre, will be D/deaf friendly and feature creative use of sign language.

Sleeping Beauty
Carriageworks Theatre
November 22 - January 4
The Carriageworks annual panto is a hit with families in Leeds at Christmas, and this year the venue is hosting classic fairytale Sleeping Beauty.
Expect big song and dance numbers, lots of laughs and some fairytale magic!

Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs
The Alhambra Theatre
December 14 - January 26
This year’s "enchanting" family pantomime stars Steps' Faye Tozer - a Strictly Come Dancing finalist - and comedy legend Paul Chuckle.
Alhambra Theatre panto stalwart Billy Pearce will also be starring.

Sleeping Beauty

The show - billed as "Huddersfield’s biggest pantomime yet" includes spectacular costumes, hit songs and audience particpation.
It has been produced by the creative team behind Aladdin and Jack & the Beanstalk.

Santa’s Dizzy Day

Santa's Dizzy Day is described as a 'fun-packed festive show for children aged 2-6' featuring interactive songs and plenty of action for kids to get involved with.
Children are enlisted to help sort out a "dreadful muddle" in Santa's workshop to get all the presents delivered in time for Christmas morning.
The show will also give children an opportunity to give their Christmas list to Santa in person.
It is produced by the team behind festive shows Santa’s Sparkly Surprise, Santa’s Mixed up Martian, Santa’s Polka Dot Pirate and Santa’s Rusty Robot .
Running time is roughly 35 minutes followed by a meet and greet with Santa.

Beauty and the Beast

This production promises 'hilarious slapstick humour, plenty of audience interaction and some fabulous song and dance routines that will delight audiences of all ages'.
The show will also feature integrated signed performances on December 29 at 5.30pm and December 30 at 1pm.

This production is billed as 'fast-paced family fun with glitz and glamour and popular tunes'.
