Panto queen Twink reveals her late mother custom made a suit for Raquel Welch after the late star saw it on Twink.

Twink – aka Adele Condron King – told how her late mother designed a white embossed hot pants suits for her, which she wore in Las Vegas.

The Dubliner revealed global icon Raquel – who passed away earlier this week – spotted the suit on Twink and wanted to know where she got it from.

Twink said: “I well remember telling the story on the Late Late Show of how she went ballistic over the white embossed hot pants suit I was wearing in this pic.

“Taken at the opening of the MGM Grand Las Vegas. In a nutshell she asked me where I bought it.

“I said ....(like a wee Irish girl in Hollywood royalty company) Eh...my mammy made it for me. Thinking she would laugh. She didn't.

She said ‘Oh my ...It's just wonderful ....would she make one for me’?

“And indeed, she did. And although Mom did it as a gift for her subsequently she was handsomely rewarded by post! Well let me tell you my late beautiful wonderful Mama traded out on that one for the rest of her days,” she told her followers on Facebook.

Hollywood star Raquel passed away on Wednesday after a brief illness.

Her career spanned more than 50 years and included 30 films and scores of TV series and appearances.

Welch won a best actress Golden Globe in 1975 for her role in The Three Musketeers.

She made her initial breakthrough in 1966 in the sci-fi adventure Fantastic Voyage and prehistoric drama One Million Years BC.

Despite having just a few lines of dialogue, her appearance in the latter was one of her best-known roles, her only costume a deer skin bikini.

A publicity still of her in the two piece became a best-selling poster.

In 2011, Time magazine put it at number six in the "top 10 bikinis in pop culture".

Alongside her acting career, Welch was seen as a sex symbol, with Playboy magazine calling her the "most desired woman" of the 1970s.
