If Anthony Richardson has big plans the night before his pro day, they won’t be with the Carolina Panthers.
According to Joe Person of The Athletic, the team’s brass will not be having dinner with the University of Florida quarterback on Wednesday night. Person notes that at least some of the group—which includes owner David Tepper, general manager Scott Fitterer and head coach Frank Reich—are still out west in Phoenix, Ariz. for the Annual League Meeting.
But they will, of course, have a chance to talk to Richardson in Gainesville tomorrow.
That said, Panthers will get some time with Richardson tomorrow as they wrap up their QB pro days tour.

Richardson, unfortunately, gets the short end of the stick from Carolina. The Panthers’ braintrust had previously sat down with the 2023 draft’s other top quarterback prospects—Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud, Alabama’s Bryce Young and Kentucky’s Will Levis—the night before their respective pro days.
Hopefully for Richardson, he’ll be able to chop it up with Tepper and company on Thursday while still getting himself a good meal tonight.
