Carolina Panthers safety Vonn Bell gets to play against some of his old friends today.
The eighth-year defender will be active for today’s Week 14 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Bell, who spent the first four seasons of his NFL career in New Orleans, now returns to the lineup after missing last Sunday’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a shoulder injury.
Tight end Tommy Tremble, who was also listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report, is active as well. He is currently tied for the second-most receiving touchdowns on the team (three).
Tremble and the rest of the tight ends won’t, however, be joined by Hayden Hurst—who was already ruled out due to his concussion. Hurst, per his father, was diagnosed with post-traumatic amnesia and will be missing his fourth straight game.
Here’s the full list of inactives for the Panthers this afternoon:
- CB Shaquill Griffin
- TE Hayden Hurst
