Looking for a chance to see game action, Eagles offensive guard Brett Toth agreed to join the Carolina Panthers active roster ahead of Week 8.
Toth has played in 17 career regular-season games, including 11 in the 2021 season with Philadelphia.
A versatile lineman, Toth has seen snaps at center, right guard, right tackle, and even as a tight end.
The #Panthers have activated G Austin Corbett from the physically unable to perform list.
They also placed DB Jeremy Chinn, OLB Yetur Gross-Matos and TE/FB Gio Ricci on IR.
The team has also agreed to terms with OT Brett Toth (from Eagles PS) and OLB Luiji Vilain (Vikings PS).

The 6-foot-6, 304-pound Toth originally joined the Eagles as a rookie free agent in the 2019 season.
A first lieutenant in the U.S. Army, Toth received a waiver to pursue his NFL career while serving as an active-duty soldier.
