Panthers HC Frank Reich officiated new assistant’s wedding in 2020

Long before Carolina Panthers head coach Frank Reich married Parks Frazier back to his staff on Wednesday, he literally wed Parks Frazier to his wife.

Back in 2020, when Reich was still leading the Indianapolis Colts, he served as the officiant for the wedding between Frazier—his assistant quarterbacks coach at the time—and Caroline Cann. And if that name sounds familiar, you may remember Cann’s days as a team reporter for the Panthers in 2019.

Reich, an ordained minister and former pastor, said on The Dan Patrick Show earlier that spring that he was still officiating a wedding every two or three years to that point. Luckily for Mr. and Mrs. Frazier, they were able to pencil in the rare appearance for their special occasion.

The 31-year-old was initially brought on the Colts staff as an assistant when Reich began his head-coaching tenure in 2018. He went on to take up roles as an offensive quality control coach and assistant quarterbacks coach, and was promoted to interim offensive coordinator under Jeff Saturday following Reich’s dismissal this past season.

So, welcome aboard, Parks and welcome back, Caroline.
