The Carolina Panthers were the recipient of a few tough breaks on Sunday. But they were also the cause of one.
In the fourth quarter of their Week 8 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons, the Panthers produced one of the biggest plays of the year—an unbelievable 62-yard touchdown pass from quarterback PJ Walker to wide receiver DJ Moore. The magical throw and catch knotted the game at 34 apiece with just 12 seconds remaining, and pushed the contentious NFC South battle into overtime.
Oh, and according to The Riot Report, it also pushed a Panthers fan into a cast . . .

To add insult to this injury, Carolina wouldn’t capitalize on the improbable play.
Moore would subsequently draw an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty during his post-score celebration and pushed the extra point try back 15 yards—a setback that set up kicker Eddy Piñeiro’s miss. Then, a second potential game-winner would be missed by Piñeiro later on in overtime, leading to a victorious drive from Marcus Mariota, Younghoe Koo and the Falcons.
Nonetheless, you’re a real one, Kim.
