Panel discussion - What do we need to make London Net Zero a reality by 2030?

“London has 2.4m vehicles ‒ of which 3% are plug in. London Net Zero by 2030 will be challenging but it’s achievable," said Christina Calderato, Director of Transport Strategy and Policy at Transport for London (TFL) and one of the panellists on this panel at the Plug It In Summit.

To get to 100%, much more will be needed from policy makers to get buy in from ordinary drivers as well as businesses. Myths abound and the battle for hearts and minds is just as important as that around chargepoints.

Moderated by David Marsland, Head of Audio at the Evening Standard, the panellists were Helena Bennett, Head of Climate Policy, for Green Alliance; Graeme Cooper, Head of Future Markets at National Grid; Christina Calderato, Director of Transport Strategy and Policy at Transport for London (TFL); and Ade Thomas, Founder of World EV Day.
