Can the UK still be a world-leader in electrification of transport? There are prizes to be won for the country that manages to create a world-beating electric transport economy powered by clean energy - and the UK is still in the running.
That was the positive message given by the second Plug It In Summit panel, tempered by the realisation that there is limited time and lots of work to be done if we’re to encourage all businesses to make their transport systems electric-first.
Moderated by Lucy Siegle, environmental journalist & broadcaster, the panellists wereTom Goodall, Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Technical & Service Support, London Fire Brigade; Niall Riddell, CEO and Co-Founder, Paua; and Dominic Phinn, Senior Policy Manager, The Climate Group.
