Panda Waste is set to introduce a €1 surcharge for customers due to rising energy costs.
The €1 per bin "fuel and energy surcharge" was revealed in an email to customers due to the rising costs of diesel.
Managing Director, Derek Dunne outlined in the email that: "We are in a crisis situation over the coming weeks with regard to energy/fuel charges and availability of same."

It's hoped that the surcharge will be temporary and could be removed when diesel prices reduce.
The cost of fuel around the country continues to skyrocket with prices in the capital soaring to over €2 per litre.
Prices are set to be slashed by 20c from midnight on Wednesday as the Government prepares to sign off on a cut to excise duties.
This will see the cost of filling your tank with petrol or diesel slashed by up to €10 for a regular tank that can hold 50 litres.
According to prices on pumps.ie that were posted on March 8, the cheapest place to buy petrol in the capital is GO 286 Kylemore Road, Ballyfermot, costing 188.9c.
