How do you top your pancakes for Pancake Tuesday? With Nutella or lemon and sugar? Maybe you are a bit more unusual and enjoy savoury toppings like baked beans, Marmite or mayonnaise.
You read that correctly, according to a new poll, researchers found that some people enjoy tomato ketchup rather than strawberry jam for their pancakes.
Cookware firm Circulon surveyed 2,000 UK adults about their topping of choice for Pancake Tuesday, with the findings showing that more than 500,000 people across the UK will be eating baked beans topped pancakes on February 21.

It was found that pancakes topped with ketchup, mayo and other savoury sauces were most popular for those living in Bristol and Nottingham, where three per cent preferred these options.
However, three per cent of Norwich residents like an American-inspired topping, voting for peanut butter and jam as their favourite.
A third of people in the UK still opted for the classic lemon and sugar as their favourite, with Nutella or chocolate chips coming in at eight per cent and Nutella and banana at six per cent.
Carl Wright, Circulon's marketing director, said: "As a brand, we are keen to learn more about the nation’s approaches to cooking.
“While some of the topping choices are more common than others, it is great to see so many people willing to experiment in the kitchen, despite some of the choices being somewhat of an acquired taste.
"Alongside opting for a pan with non-stick technology, fine-tuning your flipping skills ahead of the big day will certainly help, and take it from us, it’s all in the wrist-action."
