A number of celebs have reached for their frying pans in honour of Shrove Tuesday with varying results.
Among them was former England captain David Beckham, 49, and daughter Harper, 13, who could be seen in videos on Instagram trying their luck at home flipping some pancakes.
In one clip, the teen can be heard asking: “Daddy what are you doing?” to which he enthusiastically replied: “It's Pancake Day!”
He then flipped the tasty treat, but it landed folder back into the pan, with a worried Harper asking: “Did you ruin my pancake?”

Assuring his offspring that he had it under control, he replied: “Ruin it?! It's perfect.”
Showing off a little, he even used flour to dust the letter “H” on one pancake forHarper, while he used a stencil of his football club Inter Miami CF's logo for another.

In another clip, Harper also gave making pancakes a go, but when it came to flipping it, she dropped it straight on the floor.
Meanwhile, Amanda Holden, 54, also shared a video of her having a go at making some pancakes while presenting her Heart Breakfast show.
However, not all was as it seemed as it turned out she was just narrating the process while someone else’s arms were actually making them.
Lots of other celebs were getting their kids involved in the fun, including mum-of-five Stacey Solomon, 35, who shared a video of her three youngest children Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two, choosing their perfect toppings.

Influencer Molly-Mae Hague and two-year-old daughter Bambi were enjoying some quality time together watching the film Matilda which includes a scene with the titular character making pancakes.
Peter Andre and ex-wife Katie Price’s daughter Princess Andre, 16, definitely gets an A for effort with her own pancakes.

The teen model took to Instagram to share a picture of her hard at work in the kitchen and the results looked perfect.
