Pamela Anderson's ex-husband to leave her $10m despite being married for 12 days

Pamela Anderson is set to receive $10million (£ 8 million) when her ex-husband Jon Peters passes away, despite the former couple being married for just 12 days.

The Baywatch star and Batman film producer have been long-time pals and decided to tie the knot in 2020. They called off their union only 12 days later, but have managed to still remain friends.

77-year-old Jon said he will leave Pamela the huge sum of money in his will "whether she needs it or not".

He added that he will "always love Pamela" before admitting the 55-year-old doesn't know she has been written into his will.

"I will always love Pamela, always in my heart. As a matter of fact, I left her $10million in my will. And she doesn't even know that. Nobody knows that."

"I'm just saying it for the first time with you. I probably shouldn't be saying it. So that's for her, whether she needs it or not," Jon told Variety.

After making the decision to call off their union, Pamela claimed they had never filed the paperwork and so were never legally married.

Speaking about their decision to separate, Pamela said she was overwhelmed by the "warm reception" the former couple had received from fans.

"I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union. We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to re-evaluate what we want from life and from one another.

"Life is a journey and love is a process.

"With that universal truth in mind, we have mutually decided to put off the formalisation of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process," she told The Hollywood Reporter.

Speaking about his ex-wife, Jon told the publication: "There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn't love her so much.

"There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but — for 35 years — I've only wanted Pamela. She makes me wild — in a good way. She inspires me."

Pamela is set to reveal more about her life in an upcoming Netflix documentary and memoir.

Pamela, a Love Story will debut on the streaming service on January 31, the same day that her book Love, Pamela will be released.
