Sacha Baron Cohen 's film Borat shocked audiences when it was released in 2006.
The Ali G actor introduced his new character to the world - a sexist, anti-semitic Kazakhstani journalist who travels through the US to make a documentary.
Full-frontal male nudity, bare-faced prejudice and graphic toilet humour amused and horrified viewers in equal measure - with many branding the film too offensive.
While learning about the American culture, Borat Sagdiyev switches on his hotel television and stumbles across an old episode of Baywatch.
Believing the show to be real, he falls obsessively in love with Pamela Anderson and decides to track her down.

He attends a meet and greet with the star and attempts to kidnap her in his "traditional marriage sack".
A tussle ensues and Pamela's security guards are slow to react, with the 54-year-old screaming in terror and running out to the car park.
Amid the worrying scenes - the question on a lot of viewers' lips - was Pamela in on the prank?
In an interview with The Daily Beast, Sacha, 50, finally put the rumours to rest - unlike some of the cringe-worthy scenes in the movie, the attempted kidnap was indeed staged.
But the comic was shocked that none of her fans waiting in line, who didn't know Pamela was in on it, didn't try to help her.
"We did that scene twice, actually," he explained.
"The first time we did it at a book signing and I grabbed her over my shoulder and ran out with her and no one did anything.
"I was like, 'What kind of fans are these?'"
The second take sparked more of a reaction with fans stepping in to try to help their idol.
However, Borat is later shown Pammy's sex tape with Tommy Lee, and he realises she isn't a virgin, which changes his mind about her.
Pamela was genuinely hurt during filming, Sacha added, and "lost a tiny bit of bone from her jaw".
That wasn't all she lost.
The actress had been married to singer Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, for three months at the time and he was utterly furious about the whole thing.
Universal Studio chef Ron Meyer, a friend of Pam's, hosted a viewing party when Borat was first released.
His pal who was also in attendance said Kid Rock's "male insecurity and major anger issues" sparked a huge row when he saw his wife's scenes.
He told The Post: "It was the first time Bob had seen the movie, and, well, he didn't like it.
"Bob started screaming at Pam, saying she had humiliated herself and telling her, 'You're nothing but a w***e! You're a slut! How could you do that movie?' - in front of everyone. It was very embarrassing," the insider added.
"Pam thought he could have a sense of humour about the movie. She was in on the gag from the very beginning and loved doing the movie. And on the eve of what was supposed to be a very positive thing, he made it an awful night."
They said Pamela felt "disenchanted and sad" after the outburst, and wasn't going to wait for it to happen again.
She left their Malibu home and took her sons Brandon and Dylan to Santa Monica so that Kid Rock could pack up his things and leave.
When Sacha sent Pamela a message to ask what her husband had thought of the film, she apparently replied to say they were now divorcing.
"I thought it was a joke," the Ali G star added.
"But then a few weeks later they got divorced and they put as a reason for divorce: Borat."
This wasn't strictly true - the divorce certificate cited 'irreconcilable differences', and Pam confirmed the news on her website where she posted a photo of her and Kid Rock with the caption: "Divorce. Yes, it's true. Unfortunately impossible."
Since then, she's been married four times - twice to film producer Rick Saloman from 2007-2008, and then 2014-2015.
In 2020 she was briefly wedded to Hollywood producer Jon Peters, and that same year married her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst - who she recently split from.
