A lot of new Pals were added to "Palworld" following PocketPair's Sakurajima update, including Knocklem, which is a ground-type Pal that boasts a tough suit of armor.
This new Pal is considered to be a late-game creature that can be caught through a variety of methods. This guide lists the ways that you can get your hands on your very own Knocklem in "Palworld" without too much hassle.
Where To Find Knocklem
The first method is to fight and capture the Knocklem Alpha Boss, which is found deep in the new Sakurajima region. You can find this particular enemy at level 55, and there are a couple of fast-travel waypoints nearby.
The thing to note about the place where the Knocklem Alpha Boss is located is that it is at the bottom of a certain area.
This means that it is highly recommended to have a flying mount or a glider to travel down to the location of the Alpha Boss, according to Game Rant.
If you are using this method, be sure to have the Ring of Mercy as one of your equipped accessories to avoid accidentally killing the boss outright. This accessory lets you keep the Pal at 1 HP to give you the highest chance of catching it.
Breeding a Knocklem
If you don't have as much firepower as other people to fight a Knocklem and catch it, you may want to try out the breeding method to get this ground-type Pal. This process is just like any other Pal breeding process you can do in "Palworld."
Since the Sakurajima update is still relatively new, it is entirely possible that the best combinations of Pals to breed a Knocklem have not yet been found. So far, the most recommended breeding combo is Elphidran and Bellanoir, Screen Rant said.
The game also tells players that it is possible to use different pairings and typings of Elphidran, Bellanoir, and Blazamut. Using this method will also let you somewhat dictate the perks that you want to have on your Knocklem.
Using Knocklem at Your Base
When you finally get your own Knocklem, whether through catching the Alpha Boss or breeding, you can get it working at your base. Knocklem has a level four Transporting skill and level three for Mining and Gathering skills.
These make this particular ground-type Pal a useful ally in getting resources and bringing them to your storage boxes.
If you want it to focus on transporting resources, you can disable its other work suitabilities to make sure it focuses on its tasks, according to Sportskeeda.
