PocketPair's "Palworld" continues to stand strong, and the game's recent Feybreak update added a ton of new content for players to have fun with.

One of the new things in the game is Predator Pals, which are tougher and stronger versions of regular Pals that players can find in the wild. These are denoted by a red aura and glowing red eyes.

The most notable drop for defeating these creatures are the so-called Predator Cores, which are a new type of crafting material used in a variety of recipes. This guide helps players learn the basics of getting this new item and what you can use it for.

How To Get Predator Cores

The main method of getting the new Predator Cores in "Palworld" is by defeating Predator Pals scattered throughout the game's world. These mini-bosses show up in fixed locations and are very strong variants of normal Pals, according to Dexerto.

It is highly recommended that you have powerful equipment and high-level Pals before taking on these bosses, lest you become their victim instead. Even with level 50 Pals, Predator Pals are a challenge in "Palworld."

Whenever you defeat a particular Predator Pal, they will drop Predator Cores, usually two at a time. When you are searching for these mini-bosses, try to scan the entire area, as they may have moved farther away.

You should also keep an eye out for the word "Rampaging" that shows up whenever you are near a Predator Pal. This will also show the enemy's level and name, notifying you that you are in its vicinity, Polygon said.

How To Use Predator Cores

After you have gotten your hands on a lot of Predator Cores, you can finally start using them on new recipes added to "Palworld." There are currently five recipes that use these new materials, including Meowmere and four different sizes of Pouches.

The Meowmere is a new sword weapon that players can craft in the game, and it requires three pieces of Predator Cores. On top of this, you also need 22 Ingot, 22 Paldium Fragments, and 22 Coal.

On the other hand, the four other items you can craft: the Small Pouch, Medium Pouch, Large Pouch, and Giant Pouch. All of these items increase your inventory size to let you hold more items before storing them at your base.

The lowest level Pouch requires a tech level of 28, while the largest size requires a tech level of 57. You can create one of each to maximize the number of inventory slots that you can have, according to Sportskeeda.
