Paloma Faith filmed lesbian sex scene to make enough money to pay her rent

Paloma Faith has opened up about the time she starred in a lesbian sex scene.

The Upside Down hitmaker, 38, says she was once so skint she couldn't pay her £250 rent.

When she was offered a job to earn the money she needed, she took it - and she thought it was "hot".

Paloma says she was approached by an artist who asked her to appear in an art film, which included a lesbian sex scene.

She told followers watching her Instagram Live : "I was with a woman once but only from the waist up and it was when I couldn’t make my rent.

"An artist asked me if I would be in an art film, doing stereotypical lesbian stuff with a woman.

"The woman I did it with was really attractive, awe-inspiringly gorgeous. And I felt like, yes, it was hot."

Paloma added that she was just about to be evicted when the film earned her the £250 she needed to cover her rent.

The singer is dating French artist Leyman Lahcine, and they share a three-year-old child together, who she has said she's raising gender neutral.

And she said in 2014 that she believes most women are bisexual.

She said: "I’m a gay man trapped in a woman’s body.

"I also think most women are bisexual.

"I think it’s maybe less so for men because socially it’s more taboo - there’s more pressure on a man.

"So it’s a big deal, a big decision to come out.

"I think with women, it’s every heterosexual man’s biggest fantasy to see two women get together, so it’s a bit more acceptable."

Last year, Paloma was announced as a new judge on The Voice Kids after Jessie J quit the ITV show.

Pixie Lott, Danny Jones and will.i.am will all return when the show comes back later this year.

Paloma was a judge on the main show back in 2016.

Speaking about her new role, she said: "It’s going to be so much fun working with these young singers, helping them find their voices and be the best they can be."
