Ehab Abu Jazar, manager of the Palestinian national team, says he wants the nation to play a friendly against Celtic while heaping praise on fans of the club.
Abu Jazar has hailed the strong connection between his homeland and the Parkhead faithful, who regularly fly Palestinian flags at matches home and away.
He revealed that he would love for Palestine to play a friendly match against Celtic: "For sure, it would be a fantastic moment if the Palestine national team could play against Celtic," said Abu Jazar (Record).
"At any time possible, we would be ready for such a match. It would be special for the people of Palestine."

Brendan Rodgers' side has a faithful core of supporters in Abu Jazar's nation, with the Celtic fans' support of Palestine not going unrecognised: "Every Palestinian is aware of the backing from the Celtic fans," he said.
"All the Palestinians support Celtic."
The nation currently sits 101st in FIFA's rankings. One of their players, Oday Dabbagh, currently plies his trade in Scotland with Aberdeen.
He played at Celtic Park in the Dons' 5-1 defeat a few weeks back: "We are also supporting them [Celtic] along with Oday (Dabbagh) at Aberdeen," revealed Abu Jazar.
"Personally, it is great to see people who really believe in freedom and liberation in Europe.
"We are really proud that our player, Oday, is playing in a country like that, surrounded in a society like that. It means so much to me and every other Palestinian."
