
Islamabad: At least 10 people are reported to have been killed in anti-terrorist operation by Army in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.
The Pak Army on Saturday used a drone to target the hideouts of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which it calls a terrorist group, in Babozai village of Mardan district. At least eleven TTP fighters have been claimed to have been killed in this attack.

On the other hand, common people say that the army has killed ten civilians in this attack. After this incident, local people are protesting against the Pak Army.
In view of the anger of the people, the KP government has announced an investigation into the incident and compensation to the families of the deceased.

The Pak Army says that the TTP terrorists was planning to attack during Eid-ul-Fitr. The army had received information that TTP fighters were gathered in the Katlang mountains, where they were planning to attack on Eid.
This action was taken to prevent this attack. Under this, the Pak Army launched this special operation in Babozai village of Mardan district.
