Paisley police probing theft of vehicle from residential car park

Paisley police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from a residential car park in the town centre.

The car, a red Vauxhall Adam, was stolen from a rear car park of a property on Underwood Road at some point between 9.30pm on Sunday, October 2 and 6.50am on Tuesday, October 4.

The owner of the car did not notice its absence until the Tuesday morning.

A neighbour believes that the vehicle was still there at 2am on Tuesday morning before being pinched by thieves.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries will be conducted by the local community policing team today.”

If anybody in the vicinity of Underwood Road noticed anybody acting suspicious in the area between Sunday evening and Tuesday morning, then get in touch with Police Scotland on 101.
