Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or saw any suspicious activity near the nursery.

Detective Constable Gordon Hunt said: “Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this reckless act. I am appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious to get in touch.

“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area and may have dash-cam footage to contact us.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101, quoting incident 2630 of 24 July, 2022. Alternatively, information can be passed to the charity Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.
