Police have urged residents in Paisley to be vigilant following reports of a bogus workman who targeted an elderly woman in her home.
The man entered the property in the Alice Street area claiming to be a plumber around 2pm on November 10. After looking around, he enquired about cash kept within the house before leaving empty-handed.
He is described as white, Scottish, around 5ft 4in tall, and unshaven. He was wearing a blue shirt, dark body warmer, and grey beanie hat, and was holding a black clipboard.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who has information about this man or has had similar experiences in the area.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland: "Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 2096 of 10 November, 2022.
"For help and advice on bogus workmen, visit our website."
