TWO men have been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car on a busy Paisley road.
999 crews were called to Hawkhead Road in the town after being alerted to the incident shortly after 8am on Wednesday, September 18.
Emergency services raced to the scene. After that, the two men - aged 40 and 51 - were taken to hospital.
The pair are both said to be seriously injured following the crash.
The driver of the car was uninjured during the incident.
Meanwhile, police have revealed the road is currently shut between Accord Avenue and Portland Road to allow an investigation to take place.
Police can be seen at the scene investigating the incident.
The area has also been cordoned off, while other officers stand on guard.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Anyone with any information who has not spoken to officers should contact police via 101, quoting incident number 0695 of Wednesday, September 18, 2024."
