Love Island star Paige Thorne has revealed that she really regrets suggesting that one Love Island couple from her series were 'fake'.
The Welsh reality TV star, 24, made headlines and sent Love Island fans into meltdown back in October when she suggested that one of the finalist couples from her series were in a fake relationship.
Appearing on the Saving Grace podcast, Paige claimed that the couple in question were embroiled in a 'showmance' when asked who she believed were the fakest people from her series.
Her suggestions immediately led people to believe that it was in fact, winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and her beau, Davide Sancliment, who were the ones faking their love for one another.
However, months after making the accusations, Paige has now shared her regrets for starting the rumour.
The Welsh paramedic claimed that she was in a 'bi**hy' place in her life, and was feeling incredibly low when she hit out at her fellow Love Island castmates.
"When I did that podcast, I was in a really low place and I was feeling hella b***hy, and I just took it out on everything around me, which showed," Paige explained this week.
"It wasn't the best side of my character but I had heard some news that it's not all as it seems and I was in my little b***y mood," she told Her.
During her podcast appearance, host Grace asked Paige who the fakest couple to come out of her Love Island year was, to which Paige replied: "All I'm gonna say on this is, wait how many couples are left now? Three? Really, there's only two. But that's a secret I'll never tell."
Paige claimed that during the same time she made the confession on the podcast, she was dealing with heartbreak after splitting with her Love Island beau, Adam Collard.
The brunette beauty ended things with Geordie stud Adam after claims he had cheated on her.
Reports come after eagle-eyed fans of the ITV2 series spotted how the Welsh paramedic deleted all images of herself and Adam together from her main grid on Instagram after a rocky few weeks.
Devastated Paige told Adam how she needed some time away from him following snaps and footage of the Geordie personal trainer alongside a blonde woman after a night out going viral online.
Paige has since continued to diss Adam, claiming that he's a 'womaniser' following their brief romance.
The pair first struck up a romance earlier this year during their time on Love Island, after the Geordie’s hunk comeback to the Spanish villa for the second time caused a stir and led to some dramatic scenes on the ITV2 show.
