It’s a little frustrating to be a San Diego Padres fan right now.
The team has lost five straight, including three to the Los Angeles Dodgers, and that comes after they shoved all-in with deals at the trade deadline that included acquiring superstar Juan Soto and Brandon Drury, who’s having his best year.
On Monday, they were shut out for a second straight night, but it appeared at first that Drury scored in the seventh inning.
San Francisco Giants catcher Joey Bart applied the tag with a slick pick, and the replay overturned the call. And Padres fans were SO MAD — some started throwing trash on to the field:

Some reaction
Giants’ Slater calls Padres fans “worst in the league” for throwing items onto field, and teammate Gonzalez adding, “This is who they kind of are.”

I can’t believe Dodgers fans would go to San Diego, put on Padres jerseys, invade the stadium, and throw stuff on the field. Smh. https://t.co/mB7zcmyV3K
