Paddy Power have launched a 'Turncoat' as Jack O'Connor faces his old side Kildare this weekend in the National League.
O'Connor departed as Kildare boss after being convincingly beaten by Dublin in the Leinster final to end 2021.
And he consequently returned to Kerry as he hopes to win yet another All-Ireland title.
And bookmaker Paddy Power teased both O'Connor and Paul Galvin ahead of Kildare's National League clash with Kerry.
Galvin will be on the side line for Kildare after joining their backroom team and Paddy Power poked fun at the fashion designer.
Launching the turncoat, Paddy Power said: “Much like the half-and-half scarf, which may well be the most hated thing to come out of the Premier League, our turncoat allows you to switch sides in the blink of an eye,” spokesman Paddy Power (pictured), said.
“We know Mr Galvin has an eye for style given he has his own fashion label, so we hope our new clothing item meets his standards."
And he continued: “Jack O’Connor followed in the footsteps of another legendary Kerryman in the shape of Mick O’Dwyer when he joined Kildare.
"But unlike ‘Micko’, his departure has left a bitter taste in the mouths of many Kildare supporters. They’ll be hoping Paul Galvin sweetens the deal. Either way, our turncoat offer should do the trick.”
Kerry are priced at 1/8 for the tie while Kildare are 11/2.
And the bookmaker is offering enhanced odds of 11/1 to match goers for a Kildare win and evens for Kerry if they pop into Paddy Power’s two shops located on the Main St, directly opposite St Conleth’s Park.
