Paddy Power Comedy Festival returning with Tommy Tiernan headlining

The Paddy Power Comedy Festival is returning to Dublin's Iveagh Gardens from July 21 to 24 and will see over 90 artists perform 36 laugh out loud shows.

Comedy fans are delighted as Tommy Tiernan has been announced as one of the headliners of the festival. Other names who are set to perform at the Paddy Power Comedy Festival include Dylan Moran, Deirdre O’Kane, Foil, Arms & Hog and Enya Martin.

Additionally, attendees will see Kevin McAleer, Dirtbirds, Kevin McGahern, Neil Delamare and Jason Byrne as well as up-and-coming acts such as Fiona Frawley, Shane Daniel Byrne and Sinead Quinlan.

There will also be a slew of online stars such as Tony Cantwell, Emma Doran, Killian Sundermann, Justine Stafford, Sean Burke and Michael Fry.

Acts from the UK who will appear at the festival include Fern Brady, musical act Flo & Joan, Helen Bauer and Dane Baptiste.

Meanwhile, American comics who will be at the Paddy Power Comedy Festival this July include Andrew Dismukes from Saturday Night Live as well as Sherry Cola, Patti Harrison and Mary Beth Barone.

Other acts from around the world who will be there are Sindhu Vee, Olga Koch and Abby Wambaugh.

Bren Berry of Aiken Promotions said of the comedy festival: "Our industry has been hit more than most over the last few years and we are delighted to announce the return of the festival for the first time since July 2019.

"Our exciting new partnership with Paddy Power as title sponsors was due to begin in 2020 and their support has never been more important than it is now."

Paddy Power Marketing and Brand Director Michelle Spillane added: "Waiting two years to share this news has made us even more determined to ensure The Paddy Power Comedy Festival is bigger, better and most definitely greener than ever before."

Tickets for the Paddy Power Comedy Festival at Dublin's Iveagh Gardens are on sale now and are sold on a show-by-show basis. It is a strictly over 18s festival.
