Paddy Pimblett told "don't be a b****" as UFC rival Matt Frevola calls him out again

Paddy Pimblett has been told "don't be a b****" after being called out by Matt Frevola following his vicious first round KO of Drew Dober.

The Long Island, New York native viciously stopped No.14-ranked Dober within a round in a victory that will surely land him a spot in the lightweight rankings next week. And right on the tip of his tongue was a callout of Liverpool's Pimblett, who has yet to taste defeat in his four octagon bouts.

Frevola has gone on a stunning run of knockout victories after his shock defeat to Terrence McKinney, the quickest stoppage in UFC history at lightweight. And he has emerged as one of the breakout stars in the promotion's recent East Coast shows, with fans going wild for his fight last night.

"I know I called him a b**** and I hope that ESPN didn't bleep that one out," Frevola told the press after his stunning victory. "That's it, he's got to stop being a b**** - I want to be the first one to beat him in the UFC, I like to do things that nobody has done and my last two fights I beat undefeated guys, this fight I knocked out Drew Dober whose never been knocked out [in the UFC].

"I want to be the first one to beat Paddy Pimblett in the octagon, it would be a fun one. I love the energy he brings to the octagon, the crowd that he brings and he goes for it on the feet, too. He throws on the feet and then he's got high level grappling and i think that's what excites me the most.

"I love jiu-jitsu as well and I've seen him tapping out marines and stuff, I'm like 'come on, try and tap me out'. I'm a soldier, I'm an army vet of eight years, try and tap me out! I know that he was there and he helped out the marines and did some cool stuff with them, but try to tap me, bro."

Frevola's victory over Dober was his third where he entered as the bookies' underdog, previously handing first career losses to Genaro Valdez and Ottman Azaitar. His team had a solid night at the Prudential Center, with bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling winning in the main event against Henry Cejudo to retain his title.

Pimblett has yet to respond to Frevola's callout, and is currently out of action recovering from surgery following his last fight with Jared Gordon. The Brit defeated New Yorker Jared Gordon, but angered fans with his attitude after the bout, which was a close decision, insisting that he had won comfortably.
