Paddy Pimblett's beaten opponent responds to UFC star's 'teabag' celebration

Jordan Leavitt has made light of his rival Paddy Pimblett 'teabagging' on him after their fight at UFC London.

'The Baddy' picked up his third successive UFC win by submitting Leavitt in the second round at The O2 arena last weekend. It marked Pimblett's second win in the English capital this year having previously submitted Kazula Vargas in March. Pimblett and Leavitt went back and forth before their fight, with the Liverpudlian vowing to 'teabag' him and Leavitt promising to 'twerk' if he won.

Pimblett stuck true to his word and squatted as close to Leavitt's head as possible after submitting him, a taunt commonly used in first-person shooter games. Leavitt could be seen backing away from Pimblett as soon as he pulled the move, but the pair settled their rivalry after the fight by shaking hands as the decision was announced.

Whilst apologising to his fans for the loss, Leavitt joked that every time he loses "a booty" is usually involved. "Every time I lose there seems to be booty involved. Sorry y'all! Ate a knee, lost a few seconds of time, and woke up with my hand trapped. Every loss is a lesson and I'll be better next time," he wrote.

Pimblett admitted that Leavitt was one of the better grapplers he's fought during his career and was taken back by his unorthodox style. The Liverpudlian, who promised to "out-weird" Leavitt before their fight, said his knee was in pain after landing a strike on the head of his rival before choking him out.

"I could see [the pressure] on his face when I was standing there at him," Pimblett said. "I could see it was going to him, I knew it got to him. That's why he tried to grapple straight away but I'll give him his due, he's a good grappler. I started putting a bit of pressure on him and then I kneed him in the head and not going to lie, my knee's killing. He is a very unorthodox fighter, as I say I was going to out-weird him and I out-weirded him."

Pimblett doesn't want to fight again in the UK after his latest win unless the UFC hold an event in Anfield Stadium, the home of his beloved Liverpool FC. 'The Baddy' thinks his next fight will take place on pay-per-view in the US having only fought on fight-night events so far, with UFC boss Dana White recently confirming Pimblett's plan.
