Paddy Pimblett has failed to keep his promise after putting on a remarkable 46lbs to balloon to 200lb after his recent UFC London victory.
The lightweight star recently picked up his second UFC victory over Kazula Vargas after surviving an early knockdown to submit his opponent. He later went on a huge food binge which involved an intake of around 10,000 calories a day after vowing before his tilt that he would try to avoid making a huge weight gain after his recent success.
Pimblett has now remarkably documented his weight gain on YouTube after stepping on the scales just two weeks after his exploits in the capital. The 27-year-old weighed in just shy of the 155lb limit for his fight and has now made a remarkable 46lb gain.
After his recent food binge, Pimblett tipped the scales at 88.2kg which is a current weight of around 201lbs. He remarked after the weight was confirmed: "I am eating like a king. Resting that ACL lad getting fat. That belly is back." His recent weight gain would place him just marginally short of the 205lb weight limit to fight in the light-heavyweight division.
The lightweight star's personality has become extremely popular with fans, who are keen to see the next career moves of the rising star. Pimblett had pledged before the fight that he would remain lighter to avoid making a harsh cut to 155lbs. "I'm going to have to try and avoid it this time," he told the Daily Star.
"I think I was nearly 195lb, I was nearly 200lbs, but that's what happens when you go out and eat three main meals and two desserts every single night. I might be fat but I'll never get lazy because of this. Everyone of yous (sic) who believe in me drive me on everyday. 2022 is going to be a big year for the baddy!"

Pimblett is not yet a ranked contender at lightweight but is working towards his ambitions of becoming world champion later in his career. Despite being forced to make a huge cut to make weight for each fight, he has admitted that he would rather be "fat and happy" after his octagon exploits.
"I had a little two weeks off last time, but I'm getting back in the gym in the morning so I won't be too fat," he said. "I eat so many calories it's unbelievable, on Monday I actually gauged what I ate and I had 10,700 calories.
"That's without me doing a food challenge, that's just me being a fat b******. I'd rather be fat and happy than ripped. These people who are ripped all year round are not happy, I don't care what they say. This six-pack is sound, I look great but I'd rather be fat and happy."
