Paddy Pimblett kept up his post-fight junk food tradition by munching down a kebab following his submission win over Jordan Leavitt at UFC London.
Pimblett picked up his third consecutive win on Saturday night by submitting Jordan Leavitt in the second round. Just four months ago, Pimblett was also in the winning column at The O2 arena as he tapped out Kazula Vargas in the first round. Following the fight, Pimblett scoffed a whole pizza during his post-fight press conference.
‘The Baddy’ made sure to keep up the tradition after beating Leavitt by tackling a German Doner Kebab which UFC staff fetched for him following his win. "That [kebab] was way better than the pizza last time," Pimblett said. "The pizza was about a 3.6 [out of 10] but that German [doner] right then was heavy,"
Pimblett promised to keep his weight down after submitting Vargas in March, but went on an 11,000 calorie binge and put on over 20kg in just two weeks. Despite stacking his fridge with easter eggs, crisps and doughnuts, Pimblett successfully hit the 156lb mark when weighing in before his win against Leavitt.
The charismatic Liverpudlian addressed his weight critics at his recent weigh-in, baring his bum after stepping on the scale. "For everyone who tried to fat-shame me and say I'd miss weight or f***ing pull out, here's me a***," Pimblett said before pulling down his shorts and showing his bum.

UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman reacted to Pimblett’s post-fight antics by writing: "I swear Paddy has put on 30lb since post-fight, congrats Paddy." Pimblett doubled down on his stance to not fight in the UK again until the UFC visit Anfield Stadium, the home of his beloved Liverpool FC. 'The Baddy' also explained why he was disappointed with his performance despite earning a $50,000 bonus.
“I said I wanted to finish him in the first round, so I was pretty disappointed in between rounds talking to my coaches. I went into this fight with a lot of emotion, a lot of things on my mind so as I said in the cage after I was very critical of my performance. I think you saw that because I never come out and thrown big shots but I tried to take his head off straight away," he added.
