Paddy McGuinness has thanked fans for the support offered to him after he gave an update on Freddie Flintoff's health.
The duo co-star on hit car show Top Gear, with the former cricketer suffering a nasty crash on the show's test track earlier in the week which led to him being hospitalised.
Comedian Paddy was at the track with his pal when the incident happened and later took to Instagram to share how Freddie's recovery.
Sharing a number of pics of the pair laughing and joking throughout filming, Paddy told his 2million followers: "Had so many well wishes and positivity for the big lad this last few days.
"@aflintoff11 is loved and will be up and at um before you know it! The three of us are back this Sunday with more new @topgear including a trip to Italy, best family cars and our very own postal service! Obviously we filmed this ep earlier in the year. #topgear"
And fans took to the post to share more messages of support for the star. Among them was former professional boxer Tony Bellew, who wrote: "Boss fella!! I hope he’s on the mend."
The Football Factory star Tamer Hassan also commented: "happy your on the mend @aflintoff11 wishing you a speedy recover [sic]."
And SAS Who Dares Wins DS Melvyn Downes penned: "Hope @aflintoff11 gets well soon looking forward to the show."
Following Tuesday's crash, in which the former sports star, 45, crashed on the track at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey, the Health and Safety board is "making enquiries" into events.
A HSE spokesperson said: "HSE is aware of this incident and is making inquiries.”
HSE is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions. It is procedure for the BBC to report the incident to the HSE and for inquiries to be made.
A spokesperson for the BBC said of the incident: "Freddie was injured in an accident at the Top Gear test track this morning - with crew medics attending the scene immediately.
"He has been taken to hospital for further treatment and we will confirm more details in due course."
Freddie's youngest son, Corey, 16, said his dad was "lucky to be alive".
It is said to have happened as Freddie told the show's cameras what he thought of the car he was driving. Despite speculation, sources say his injuries were not life threatening.
