Paddy McGuinness makes cheeky dig at ex Christine as she enjoys holiday without him

Paddy McGuinness made a cheeky dig at his ex wife Christine after she enjoyed a family getaway without him.

The mum-of-three, 33, took her kids on holiday for Easter and posted a photo of herself on a bike pulling a trailer.

Ready for action, sporting khaki cargo pants and a hoodie, Christine captioned the snap: "Wishing you all a wonderful Easter from my little chicks to yours!

"That was a lovely little family break, now mummy is exhausted and definitely deserves an adults only holiday!

"Massive thank you to my mum, the best nanny for the extra hands and ears on this trip."

Fans loved the shot, but Paddy quipped: "No way did you pull that," followed by a laughing emoji.

Christine replied: "Don't chat [s**t emoji]. I've done about 50 miles with children in there this weekend! I'm done in."

The couple split last year after telling fans the decision wasn't easy, but their main focus was on their "three, beautiful children".

Despite calling it quits, the couple still live together as they feel it best to provide twins Leo and Penelope, nine, and Felicity, six - who are all autistic - with a routine.

"We want to keep things the same as much as possible for the children, I don't want anything to affect them," Christine said to Lorraine Kelly last month.

"We are family and we'll always be family no matter what and we're living in a nice, happy home."

Paddy and Christine have avoided telling their kids they've split up as they continue to live together.

Some fans have questioned whether the set up will work with many asking Christine if living in the same house as her ex-husband feels strange.

Thankfully, the former Miss Liverpool said it was "absolutely fine" as she doesn't "know any different than to live with him."

"I've been with him since I was 19 years old and we just want to do what's best for our children. It's certainly not a long-term plan," she explained.

The couple said they only want to focus on their children's happiness and stressed "slow changes are better".

They even agreed to spend Christmas together so they could celebrate the holiday as a family of five.

"We don't know what the future holds or how it's going to be moving forward, but we'll try to keep things as normal as possible," Christine previously told OK magazine!

"I'm quite happy for him to be there with the children and it's nice for them to see Mummy and Daddy just being alright. We can sit and have a cup of tea together and that's fine."
