Paddy McGuinness isn’t having a good time on Celebrity Bake Off – as Sunday night’s episode will show.
The comedian swore during a meltdown as he watched his cake collapse in the oven, meaning he had to start all over again.
His misfortune wasn’t helped by Loose Women star Coleen Noleen, who spotted something was wrong and asked him: “What the hell is that?”
“That’s nice, isn’t it? That’s the encouragement you want. ‘What the hell is that?” Paddy replies before realising the epic fail he has made.
As he takes his gingerbread out the oven, it completely falls apart – with some of it even going on the floor.
The 49-year-old Top Gear host appears to swear, but it’s not clear what word he uses as it is bleeped out.
Explaining what has happened to his bake, he says: “The shaft has collapsed. The story of my life.”
He continues: “No, no, no, no, that’s not good. I don’t know what to do.”
Determined to carry on, Paddy picks the pastry up off the floor and puts it back on his work surface.
As his fellow celebs look on horrified at the health and safety faux pas, Paddy is heard saying: “Now listen, they’ll never know. Reset.”
Revealing his new plan, he adds: “So I’m going to make another batch. We go again. We do not get stopped by a ginger biscuit.”
Paddy joins a host of celebs taking part in Celebrity Bake Off, which will raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.
As well as Paddy and Coleen, comedian and Strictly star Ellie Taylor, Inbetweeners actor Joe Thomas, former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson and Olympic gold medallist Tom Daly are on the show.
Friends star David Schwimmer, actors David Morrissey and Jessica Hynes, The Repair Shop’s Jay Blades - who has previously admitted to being a total novice in the kitchen - Dragons’ Den star Deborah Meaden and TV presenter AJ Odudu also star.
Comedians Tom Davis, Rose Matafeo, Mike Wozniak and Lucy Beaumont, plus radio presenters Tim Key and Adele Roberts complete the line-up.
Earlier on in the series, which started on March 19, Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood revealed the 'worst ever' celebrity contestant on the show so far.
Lucy Beaumont, who is married to fellow comic Jon Richardson, made an 'unforgettable' cake, which had to fit a 'perfect day off' theme.
Her idea was inspired by her own perfect day of wanting to go to an all-you-can-eat carvery with actors Idris Elba and Tom Hardy.
Unfortunately, things didn't go to plan and the cake fell apart whilst she was in the process of putting it together. Lucy said she suspected she hadn't let it cool enough.
Prue appeared speechless and Paul even spat a bit out after tasting it before telling Lucy: "I wouldn't say it was inedible but it's on the way... I've never had a cake like it. It's bizarre".
