Paddy McGuinness in agony after sitting on chilli during kitchen sex with wife Christine

Paddy McGuinness has hilariously revealed that he was left in sheer agony after he accidentally sat on a pile of chopped chilli peppers during some steamy kitchen sex with wife Christine.

The Top Gear presenter, 48, said his bum was 'on fire ' after he placed his derrière on top of the fiery chilli peppers as bombshell Christine, 33, watched on in disbelief.

The smitten pair couldn't help but get down and dirty in the kitchen in the heat-of-the-moment love-making session - but it came to a sudden stop after Paddy's unfortunate brush with the chopped chillis.

Paddy explained that he found himself unable to resist his gorgeous wife when he walked through the front door to see her cooking a slap-up meal for him while wearing nothing but an apron.

The much-loved TV star still cringes at his kitchen mishap - but he relived the hilarious tale this weekend.

"So, what happened was that I jumped on the kitchen counter naked and pretty much sat on a chilli and it wasn’t the best of experiences, I can tell you," the funny man told.

“Once bitten, twice, shy, that’s for sure. Let me tell you, it was like a ring of fire.

“I know some people can’t even put chillies in their mouth — and if you do put them in your mouth, they usually leave your body from the same place that I sat on, if you know what I mean. It’s not something I’ll be repeating.

“I had to cool the whole situation down in the end and used some Sudocrem and a very cold bath. I have now made a full recovery," he told The Sun.

Paddy went on to reveal that his and Christine's naughty kitchen activities occurred before the pair became proud parents to twins Penelope and Leo, nine, and daughter Felicity, five.

"Before you have kids there are a lot of things you do that you don’t carry on doing. I don’t have to worry about that these days," the presenter joked.

Paddy's sex confession comes after the Take Me Out presenter is believed to be 'very proud' that Christine has landed a brand-new job after leaving Real Housewives of Cheshire behind.

The Top Gear presenter, 48, is reportedly over the moon about his wife's forthcoming venture on ITV challenge show The Games and is delighted that she's left her Real Housewives stint in the past.

Christine, 33, recently landed the exciting new gig with ITV, and her husband is relieved that she will no longer be filming scenes where she's 'gossiping' and 'going for lunches' with the other housewives.

"He thinks this is a step in the right direction," an insider told.

"He never really liked her being on the Housewives. He feels like she’s doing something that doesn’t involve her going for lunches and gossiping with other women," they added to OK! Magazine.

Proud mum-of-three Christine, who recently discovered that she is autistic, has penned a successful autobiography, made an important BBC documentary about autism and starred on ITV's The Real Full Monty to raise awareness for breast cancer - all in recent months.

After building up her impressive showbiz CV, Christine has now snapped up the new ITV role and Paddy couldn't be any more proud of his amazing wife.
