Many people would be furious to discover their expensive piece of tech had been, quite possibly, permanently ruined. But not Paddy McGuinness. The comedian and TV star took to social media to share a video of himself lounging in the sun on Monday (June 20).
As he basked in the sun, Paddy decided to tell his followers about a recent incident at home. "Afternoon," he started rather sharply with the video showing him topless with his tanned torso on display while donning a pair of dark shades.
He then went on: "My computer screen before you turn it on is black and when you turn it on it all lights up, lovely." Picking up speed on his tale, Paddy added: "Anywho, I turned it on this morning..."

The 48-year-old then disappeared from the screen and a clip of his Mac computer appeared. As he switched it on and the computer screen lit up, squiggly lines could be seen that had been drawn on. Rubbing his finger across the screen, he said: "And it's permanent as well."
He sighed before Paddy was once again seen in his garden. "Ah well," he said calmly but also defeated. "Such is life," he added before another slight sigh as the video ended. Captioning the post to his millions of followers, the dad-of-three said: "At least my tans on point. Here’s to a lovely week."
Former SAS: Who Dares Wins star Ant Middleton was among the first to reply, saying: "This one hit me hard mate…" while Mark Wright shared a string of crying laughing face emojis.
And fans were soon commenting on Paddy's reaction. @blackburn3888 said: "You took it well I felt." @clairekennedy8890 commented: "Oh shiz! If you don’t laugh you’ll cry but this tickled me. Kids are great aren’t they!" @kathrynd2017 replied: "You've taken it very well."
But he was also flooded with suggestions on how to reverse the damage - from using hand santizer to hair spray as well as going over it with a whiteboard pen before wiping it off.
Paddy shares three children - eight-year-old twins Leo and Penelope, and six-year-old Felicity - with wife Christine. The couple regularly talk about their life as parents as all three of their children are autistic. Model Christine also revealed last year that she too was diagnosed with the lifelong developmental disability and earlier this year, she confirmed she also has ADHD.
