Paddy McGuinness fans tell people to 'put your pitchforks away' after post about daughter

Paddy McGuinness joked that he 'expects a call from social services' as he showed his daughter having fun in the garden.

He shared an image of his expansive garden on Instagram, showing off a beautifully paved patio area and stone steps up to a green grassy garden area. On the grass, there was a huge trampoline to one side and a gigantic blow up swimming pool in the middle.

In the pool, was his youngest daughter Felicity. The 48-year-old comedian shares three autistic children - Felicity, Leo and Penelope - with former Miss Liverpool, Christine McGuinness. The married couple regularly use their platforms to raise awareness about the challenges faced by people with the condition.

Captioning the image, the dad-of-three wrote: "Paddling pool moved, no sunshine, waters fleein and my youngest daughter still insisted on getting in! I’m expecting a call from the social services anytime now. #weekend #dadlife #sunday #paddlingpool #kids."

Fans thought it was hilarious and took to the comments to support him. Melissa said: "She's fine kids love it. By the way Karen's he's just joking put your pitchforks away."

Joyanne said: "If they do tell them the Karen's haven't got a mind like your girl." Ceri said: "Love it! Children are children! Happy children laugh and do whatever makes them happy you are both brilliant parents let the summer begin."

Paddy previously admitted that he "found it hard" to come to terms with the fact that his three children all have autism. In the Paddy and Christine McGuinness: Our Family and Autism documentary, the TV presenter choked up and had a tear in his eye as he explained how he wasn't sure that his kids fully understood the meaning of love.
