Packers training camp report: Live updates from Practice No. 14 in 2024

Welcome to the 14th day of training camp for the Green Bay Packers. Matt LaFleur’s team is returning to the practice field for the first of two open practices in Green Bay this week — with another coming Wednesday — following the preseason opener in Cleveland last weekend. On Friday, the Packers will be in Denver for a joint practice and then a preseason game on Sunday night.

So, what will Day 14 bring at Ray Nitschke Field?

Here’s everything to know from Tuesday, Aug. 13, the 14th training camp practice of 2024:

Matt LaFleur pre-practice press conference

The Packers will not be in full pads on Tuesday. Wednesday’s practice will be padded, Thursday is a walkthrough and Friday is a joint practice in Denver.

LaFleur said Grant DuBose’s blocking vs. the Browns was “big time.” Blocking in a pre-requisite for receivers in Green Bay. “No block, no rock.”

Injury updates

Rookie running back MarShawn Lloyd will not practice on Tuesday, per LaFleur. He injured his hamstring on Saturday vs. the Browns.

Rookie offensive lineman Jordan Morgan (shoulder) will return to practice on Tuesday, but he’s expected to be limited, per LaFleur.

Rookie offensive lineman Donovan Jennings is back from a knee injury, per Andy Herman.

Rookie linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper is back at practice after dealing with an ankle injury, per Herman.

Cornerback Jaire Alexander is practicing Tuesday after missing Saturday’s preseason opener due to a personal matter.

Among those still out with injuries are rookie linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hip) and cornerback Carrington Valentine (hamstring).

Linebacker Quay Walker is not doing 11-on-11 work to start practice.
