The Green Bay Packers are coming off a disappointing 8-9 season in 2022 and now dealing with more uncertainty regarding the future of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but oddsmakers still like Matt LaFleur’s team as a contender in the NFC in 2023.
According to new odds from Tipico Sportsbook released following Sunday’s Super Bowl, the Packers are tied with two other teams at +1200 for the fourth-best betting odds to win the NFC next season.
The favorite to represent the NFC in Super Bowl 58? The San Francisco 49ers at +320, followed closely by the reigning conference champion Philadelphia Eagles at +350. The Cowboys are third at +550, followed far behind by the Packers, Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions at +1200.
The odds highlight the powerhouses at the top of the conference but also suggest the NFC is wide open entering the 2023 season.
The Packers haven’t won the NFC since following the 2010 season. The franchise is 0-4 in NFC title games over the last 12 years.
