The Green Bay Packers signed 14 practice squad players to the 90-man offseason roster with reserve/future contracts on Monday.
A reserve/future contract is a placeholder deal, keeping the player under contract with a team until the start of the new league year in March.
The following players — all from the Packers practice squad — signed futures deals:
OLB Keshawn Banks
S Tyler Coyle
WR Grant DuBose
DL Jonathan Ford
CB Zyon Gilbert
CB Anthony Johnson
QB Alex McGough
RB Ellis Merriweather
LB Arron Mosby
LB Kenneth Odumegwu
FB Henry Pearson
WR Thyrick Pitts
T Kadeem Telfort
TE Joel Wilson
Banks, DuBose and Pearson were all elevated from the practice squad to the gameday roster at points during the season.
The only players not signed to a futures contract from the practice squad were cornerback David Long Jr., defensive lineman Chris Slayton and punter Pat O’Donnell. All three are veterans. Offensive lineman Michael Jordan, who was released on Saturday to make room for O’Donnell, also wasn’t immediately re-signed.
