The Green Bay Packers selected Nebraska wide receiver Samori Toure at No. 258 overall in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL draft.
The Packers had Toure in for a pre-draft visit.
Toure, a Montana transfer, caught 46 passes for 898 yards and five touchdowns for Nebraska during the 2021 season. He led the Big Ten in yards per catch (19.5) and had five 100-yard receiving games.
Prior to his transfer, Toure produced 87 catches for 1,495 yards and 13 touchdowns during an All-American season at Montana in 2019.
Toure turned 24 in March.
While not invited to the combine, Toure enjoyed an impressive pro day. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.44 seconds, hit 34.5″ in the vertical leap, covered 10-4 in the broad jump, and completed the short shuttle in 4.22 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.77 seconds. His Relative Athletic Score is 6.15 out of 10.0.
Toure joins second-round pick Christian Watson and fourth-round pick Romeo Doubs as the three wide receivers picked by the Packers in the 2022 draft.
