On his 212th career reception and in his 80th NFL game, Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs finally found the end zone. Now the NFL’s record holder for consecutive catches without a touchdown to start a career, Jacobs caught an 8-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Love that gave the Packers a 21-19 lead over the Houston Texans on Sunday at Lambeau Field.
Jacobs caught a pass in the right flat, cut inside and found the end zone for the score.
Jacobs caught 197 passes without a touchdown catch during his first five seasons with the Raiders. On his 15th catch with the Packers, Jacobs finally hit paydirt.

The touchdown finished off a 9-play, 71-yard scoring march for the Packers to open the second half. The score provided the game’s fifth lead change.
Now that Jacobs has found the end zone, the record will be set at 211 catches. Will anyone ever break his record? The current active player with the most catches without a receiving touchdown is Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren, who has 97 catches and no scores.
