Packers lose DL Devonte Wyatt, LG Elgton Jenkins to injuries in first half vs. Eagles

The Green Bay Packers lost defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt and left guard Elgton Jenkins to injuries in the first half against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Wyatt has a lower leg injury and is questionable to return. He was taken back to the locker room. Jenkins injured his shoulder — suffering a stinger — and is also questionable to return.

Jenkins was hurt while pulling from left to right on a run play. Eagles edge rusher Nolan Smith drove his helmet into Jenkins’ shoulder as they collided, and Jenkins appeared to be in immediate pain.

The Packers replaced Jenkins with rookie Travis Glover at left guard. Along the defensive front, expect more snaps for TJ Slaton, Karl Brooks and Colby Wooden.

The Packers generally update injury statuses after halftime. If an injury is serious, the player will be ruled out coming out to start the second half.
