Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander is questionable to return to Sunday’s showdown with the Chicago Bears with a knee injury.
Alexander was listed as questionable coming into the game with a knee injury. He played only in certain packages in the first half and is not expected to return in the second half.
Alexander first injured his knee late in the Packers’ win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8. He missed Green Bay’s Week 9 loss to the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field.
Without Alexander the rest of the way, the Packers would be down to Keisean Nixon, Carrington Valentine and Eric Stokes at perimeter cornerback. Rookie Javon Bullard has been playing in the slot. Backup Corey Ballentine is also available at corner.
After Sunday in Chicago, the Packers face the high-powered offenses of the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions over the next three weeks.
